If a student is NOT going to be registering for the next consecutive session A DROP CARD MUST BE FILLED OUT AND RECEIVED NO LATER THAN THE LAST WEEK OF THE CURRENT SESSION FOR WHICH THE CHILD IS ENROLLED. Drop cards will be available at the display case just inside the front door of the gym several weeks before the end of the current session. Drop cards should be placed in the box provided. Your space will be automatically held and you will be charged, unless advance notice of discontinuing, by filling out a drop card, is received. If your child is registering for the next consecutive session, you do not need to do anything to secure your child’s spot in the next session. No tuition adjustments, credits or refunds will be given if a student drops a class after the 2nd class meeting unless a written medical excuse signed by a certified physician is received by the office. Make-ups/ Cancelled Classes
Classes missed for any reason may be made up within the same session the class is missed. Students are allowed ONE make-up per session. A class must be missed before the class can be made up. Please schedule all make-ups with the office. If the student misses the last class of the session, he or she may make up a class in the next session. Make ups may be taken in any class appropriate to the students age and ability, provided the student’s account is in good standing. Classes cannot be carried over from one session to another. Pioneer Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule classes and faculty. If the gym is closed due to inclement weather or holidays, the instructor will reschedule classes missed and you will be notified accordingly. Notification of cancelled classes due to inclement weather will be posted on our website, www.pioneergymnastics.com Classes may not be made up for inclement weather if the gym remains open for that day. Gymnasts are allowed only one make up class per session. Any missed class which is not made up will not result in a credit to your account. If your child is the only gymnast present for any class, that class will only be a ½ hour private lesson. Returned Checks There is a $25 fee for each returned check. It is the policy of Pioneer Gymnastics to automatically re-deposit returned checks. Please do not drop off late students without coming into the gym to check the status of the class. Driver Responsibility Please come into the gym to pick up or drop off your children. We insist on all children waiting inside for their rides. Valuables Valuable items should not be brought into the gym. Pioneer Gymnastics will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. Parking Please park in a parking space, and be aware of the children around you when parking. Please do not park in front the building, Sunny Mart spaces, Denardo's spaces or in front of the dumpster. Parent Viewing Parents are welcomed to view classes at anytime, and we encourage you to stay and do so if at all possible. Parents should view from the designated viewing area, located on the second floor of the gym. A children’s table is provided for other children to do homework or color. At no time should parents or siblings be on the gym floor (except when assisting a Kids Clubhouse class). Please do not sit in walkways. Please keep all cell phone conversations to a minimum as the viewing area is open to the facility. Please do not talk to or otherwise distract the children participating in classes, as any interruptions could result in serious injury. Dress Code All female students should wear a leotard if possible. Otherwise, clothes without buttons, zippers or beads are most appropriate for gymnastics. Hair must be tied back out of the face and no jewelry should be worn. Students are to have bare feet or gymnastics shoes. Warm Ups All classes begin with a warm-up, which is very important for children’s safety. Proper warm-up and stretching helps reduce the chance of injury. Exhibitions and Special Events
